Gave the workbench a 1” facelift

Upgraded the workbench with a 1” plywood top to make a sturdier working and striking surface.

I ripped a 1/2” sheet of plywood into two 2’x8’ sections and glued them up overnight.

Workbench put back together after it was all done.

Direct before and after. I didn’t build this workbench, it came with the house. After putting up with this thing for a year, I kind of wish it wasn’t here when I moved in.

Better before picture. The workbench is actually just 1x4s with a 1/4” sheet of MDF board on top to make a “solid” surface.
