My Personal Top 10 Horror Shorts

I'm an avid fan of all things dark and eerie, and I wanted to share some of this creepy stuff with you guys! So why not start with my top 10 favorite Horror Shorts! There's some gore in this, but I'm sure you can handle it! It's best to turn your lights off, and use headphones while viewing. Thanks again for taking the time! This one is made to look really old. At first it's just a little old lady lovingly making tea for her husband, but soon, things turn dark and unexpected.

I found this one more comical than the rest. Narrarated by a deep voiced actor. It's in the format of a dark, gothic bed-time story. It shows a young girl who keeps sucking her thumb for comfort and her cruel mother has had enough of it. She then summons Suckablood for the next time she sucks her thumbs...

This one's a bit funny at day, but rather creepy when watched at night. It's based on the CreepyPasta, which is also called Smiling Man.

This one's a rather new short. If you're scared of the dark beware! This short revolves around the darkness, and the safety of the light. The only thing I wonder, is why she didn't get out of the house right away.

Proxy: A Slenderman Story

I was debating between this or Marble Hornets, but I ended up going with this one. Marble Hornets was more of a series than an actual short. Yes, you may think Slenderman is overdone, but this made me genuinely scared of Slenderman again. (Of course, I am scared easily.)

A fantastic animated short! I personally found it more creepy than scary. If you're scared of dolls, beware. This short starts out innocent and even Pixar like, but don't be fooled. It's far from a happy Pixar movie...

Don't Move

I've used a Ouija Board, and I can say that this has in fact, never happened to me. It has made me paranoid to use my board though. This is an amazingly done short that keeps the viewers interested in what happens next. Six friends had gathered around and used a Ouija Board and accidentally unleashed a demon. The catch? The Demon can only sense movement.

This short follows the traditional haunted house feeling. It captures the feelings of being a child and being terrified of the dark. There's absolutely no gore in this short production, and it relies more on sound and suspense.

This is the most amazingly well done zombie short I have ever seen. It follows a father and his infant in the zombie breakout. He does everything in his power to protect his baby girl. This short actually made me tear up. A fathers love is a powerful thing!
