Not even sure on the crewmen…. Saw the video on that thing and the insurance form they had British explorer dude sign and it was pretty clear that it was sketchy at best and not checked or approved by any official organization… 🤷♀️

They've been missing for about 24 hours. They could have up to a total of 96 of air from the start of the dive. There's also the possibility that the sub is floating on the surface and has just lost communication.

They had enough air to last up to 96 hours at the start of the trip, and could have as much as 70 hours left, according to pretty much every news article I've seen so far. So it's definitely still considered a rescue since they very well could be alive. And while saying "they only had enough air to last hours" is not technically wrong, it's also like saying "we have days left until the sun burns out". Not inaccurate, but the scale you're using makes it seem like less than it really is.
