Bad news about Jasmne

The Imgurian who adopted Jasmne and has given her an amazing life texted me the other day.

From @QuackMagicAndHerMagicalBeer: “We took Jasmne for her annual physical. Her weight is good (even with the extra treats), but the vet noticed that her remaining eye is cloudy.”

“They looked into her history and found that she lost the previous eye from feline herpes.”

“They are worried that her remaining eye may also be affected but we will need to continue to watch it to make sure it doesn't get worse. If it progresses, she will lose that eye and become a blind kitty. :( “

Quack gave birth a few months ago. Jasmne is obsessed with baby Quack and can always be found snuggling on or near her.

But the vet bills are going to be astronomical and Quack was out of work and not paid for two and a half months after giving birth.

As if all of that isn’t bad enough, Jasmne’s big brother, Ender, is also having medical issues.

From Quack: “Ender is 14 years old. He was healthy last checkup but he started vomiting and losing weight. The vet did a load of blood work and ultrasound to find that he has enlarged lymph nodes and swollen intestines.”

“We don't know if it is caused by cancer or something else. We now have to put him on a special medicine and he goes back to the vet in one month.”

Quack rescued Ender from the humane society on her birthday when he was four months old. And since Quack texted me, they had to rush him to the emergency vet because he was rapidly getting worse.

This amazing little Void is going to require a lot of medical intervention, specialists, and medication. And Quack and her hubby have that brand new baby and we all know they’re expensive.

This! Cracks me up. I’m trying to convince her to use the proceeds of her sticker store to go towards Jasmne and Ender’s care, but she told me she is actually trying to raise money for the Humane Society, because she is a phenomenal person who always thinks of others.

She doesn’t know I’m doing this, but I wanted to share Jasmne’s and Ender’s story with you all to say…if the spirit moves you, Quack and her entire family could use some financial help.
