I know, I know. you guys don't like stories like this, but I had to share an update. I made a post about 2 weeks ago about my son. He has autism and his OT (occupational therapist) made the suggestion that he would be better off going to an inpatient care facility for a few weeks to a few months. The idea of sending him away made me sick to my stomach. Well, after being depressed and crying over it I decided, fuck that. I am not giving up on him yet.
(He is not potty trained yet. We have been working on that for a year now)

See what happens when you don't isolate him? He actually joins with the other kids and gets socialized. Who would have thought of that!
