Each time a billionarie does something "good", remember how you would feel if someone robbed the local credit union and then gave 0.1% of what they stole to a school. You'd say "Wait a minute, part of that are my savings, that's not your money, and donating part of it doesn't exonerate you". The only difference is that the billionaire robbed you before your labor turned into money, instead of after your labor turned into money. Which makes no difference. People just need to realize it doesn't.

Them spending the money on good causes to have less money left to tax is at least something of a good thing. It's how the moguls and tycoons of yore did it in the days of wealth taxes. You spend money on your company, or society, to get below the profit threshold of that tax bracket.
But, these guys are basically doing the bare minimum. Still good to fund those charities, but they are still making billions at the expense of their own workers. (1/2)

What we need is to bring back the heavy wealth taxes, and add a special "Billionaire's bracket" - 100% of everything over the 1B mark. Motivate them to do enough spending to not be a billionaire, or pay enough taxes to not be a billionaire.
With that kind of money, we could fix every shortage, every economic issue, throughout the country... and have enough left over to provide humanitarian aid the world over. THAT's how rich these jerks are right now.
