Instructions unclear. Stuck water bottle up your moms butt.

I use freeze dried ice for all my pasta. Done in 3 secs.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My mom taught me this.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, Scott Conant, I DON’T know why this pasta is undercooked.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like he’s roasting the waters.

You know you can bring water to boil faster as ice than you can if it is like-warm water.

So this joke isn't entirely false.

How does this ancient and stupid shit get 200+ upvotes?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One water.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For best results, boil the water in a large pot with one hotdog per 2 cups of water. Strain the water into bottles for freezing.

Fun fact: there IS a physics phenomenon wherein hot water freezes faster than cool water— https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mpemba_effect

Shit was discovered by a 13yr old??

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How much "a water" do I need for "a pasta"?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 cups for a full box so 2oz for “a pasta”

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did this and it works! 10/10 would recommend.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Though as a side note, if your freezer really is that empty, keeping some bottles of water frozen in there will help efficiency a bit

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Air changes temperature easily, so opening/closing will nuke an empty freezer. Water is a good thermal buffer and will save you some energy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boiled water does make the best ice cubes, they're perfectly clear

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck that's smart. Its mine, copyright

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is a great tip. Thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They forgot to tell you that you have to turn the bottles every 5mins or so, to properly save the boiling processes. o.0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Really good point!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Key words here are “a few gallons” and “a week”. If you’re eating that much pasta you really do need to use every minute wisely.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just showed this to my boyfriend. He replied with “That’s a good idea.” Oh dear...

Are you suggesting they do not have to be boiled individually?

Make a pasta is how an Italian would say it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*an pasta

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Never make single pasta, always five pasta

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's... That's technically a valid use of it...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The type of person that would say "a pasta" is the type of person that says "funnily". Just because you CAN say something....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No, not really. A pasta is a dish based on pasta. Funnily is not even a word. Sure "a pasta" has fallen out of common use in American

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

English, but it's still a totally valid term and used quite often in cooking dialect

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It sounds awkward in America. Though my friends ex-wife was English and she'd make "a curry" instead of "make curry" or "make some curry."

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah all the other English speaking countries still say it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"A pasta" is the correct way to say it in every country other than America.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably not.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

definitely not, "pasta" is not a countable noun

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
