Anyone who believes gun control will put a stop to violent crime is just not imaginative enough. -my unpopular opinion

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 8

Criminals love gun control. It makes their job safer.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 5

So if theft was legal criminals would hate it?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Guns are a unique thing. Guns both enable and stop crime. You can shoot someone in self defense or you can get shot.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the case of theft, if it were legal, criminals would still do it, seeing as it isn't its own countermeasure. Are we clear?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Good job California

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 9

Why do people even want so many guns?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Because they're sociopaths.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Why do people want so many legos? Video games? Alot of people want them for fun. Not to kill. I own guns and dont expect to kill a fly.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you just want to use them, it would probably be better to have them at a club or something of the sort.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Until the Supreme Court fixes it.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 7

Yes one of your places i lke about your us states it just turns round and backhands bad laws

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Pistols with threaded barrels? Is threading different than rifling? Or can you pretty much just own a smooth-bore?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Threaded means able to take a moderator/flash suppressor etc. Nothing to do with rifling :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ooh right, thanks!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're welcome.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People had these things? Why do people have these things?

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 14

Because they're sociopaths.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Fuck off I like guns - American

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Making my case again and again, chalk up another sociopath. I hope you get help before you hurt yourself or someone around you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Hey imgur I am monster because once or twice a month I go out to a gun range with my family/Friends and kill innocent targets from 200 yards

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First step toward healing is admitting a problem. Jk. I don't see you describing how you'd like to kill/hurt/maim others. Guns can be safe

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ladies and gentlemen did we just have a civilized discussion on guns

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People who are quick to tell strangers how they'd shoot/kill/maim someone are nuts. Self defense is fine, I hope never to need to do it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Guys. Let's make this clear. The loss of these rights is bad, not good. Right? You should upvote if you think it's bad. Okay?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

The loss of these rights is AWESOME!!!! I hope they pass a law requiring mandatory mental health assessments for anyone who wants a gun.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Then, I hope that all the sociopaths who are dx'd as a a result are given the treatment they so desperately need before they kill.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

So then criminals need to take a mha before buying a full auto ak that was smuggled into the us? Ya that will totally work.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The "criminals" argument is so old and irrational, I can't believe people actually still believe it. Though I forget about country folk.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What a bunch of cunts run that state.

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 14

funny as it always votes more heavily republican

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 12

What alternative universe are you living in?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Don't know where that bullshit came from but the last time CA voted for a Republican president was when Reagan was the guy.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

was just a general showing of what it was, that california is not a heavily one side or other state

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Sounds like a step in the right direction

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 16

A small one but a step, nonetheless. People who get all hot and sweaty over guns are sociopaths IMO. Simple minded, scared, sickos. IMO.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I own more guns than the average American. I'm wondering what I'm scared of when none of them can be used for defence in my country anyway?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats a really good question for your apparently non-existent therapist.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Do tell me, why would I need a therapist?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Because you're self-absorbed, lack empathy, and exhibit antisocial behavior insofar as you assert how armed you are to total strangers?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Because you have a grandiose sense of self, feel nothing is wrong with you, and have a disregard for the rights of others. More?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

not if you legally owned a mangazine over 10 rounds your now being told to hand it over, if i was in california i'd move away from there

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

But why would you ever need a firearm with that many rounds?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

Why would you need a car that exceeds the speed limit?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

have you ever been part of a home invasion? I have the fact i had a small mallet helped but a gun would have sorted it out easier

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Zombies of course.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unpopular opinion: Sensible new laws

10 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 31

unfortunately yes

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Not quite sure bout the pistol one. Smooth bore isn't quite the fashion anymore. They could allow you to keep it at a licensed gunrange.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Threaded for silencer.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am pretty certain the law isn't about fashion. Might as well only have access to rentals at gunrange

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No my point is, unless you get a 1840's relic, there isn't such a thing as an unthreaded pistol. And thats the same as leaving your own.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

They are just trying to stop people having the ability to kill a dozen people in a minute in their pants. (waiting for supercock reply)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh no, I'm smooth-bore (See what I did there?).

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Threaded =/= rifled. A threaded barrel is one that is able to take a moderator without an adapter surely?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, then yeah sure. Although I'm not sure about the propensity of silencers in firearm crime.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Which of course all criminals will abide by.

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 7

If only there was some sort of system of punishment.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

The good part is all of the criminals will still use these.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

They still steal things too, should theft be legal? Lol

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Theft actually violates someone's property rights.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Let's try speeding in your car?
