Clark Kent in the front row - secretly hoping no one discovers his real identity

Money for war, none for the poor.

Well, come on all of you, big strong men
Uncle Sam needs your help again
Yeah, he's got himself in a terrible jam

He was busy trying not to get an STD, which he claimed was his Viet Nam

Instead the rich men choose another rich man to plan and start the wars.

And! And! And! Same lint lickers telling us whatever this week’s equivalent to Agent Orange is ain’t cancerous. Still telling us whatever this week’s equivalent to Anne Frank is a menace and needs to be turned in is.

You are correct, 100%.

Btw “lint licker” is going straight into my arsenal of insults, that’s hilarious. 💀

They aren't the fortunate ones.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You may not, but your children and grandchildren unto the seventh generation will.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those men would be attacked by our government for that today.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what drones and AI are for

Faro will take care of things. Humans not needed.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The gravy seals WANT to fight the rich men's wars.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

War is when you get told who the enemy is. Revolution is when you figure it out yourself.

Go figure....

Greetings from europe. We are waiting....

Oooooo that’s an amazing thought, is that a quote? Or a saying in your language?

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is actually a quote from some lefty author i think. Don't remember which, though.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If a revolution happens in the USA, no country will be safe from it. All your billionaires will get swept up in it too.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GOOD.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

War...It feeds the rich, while it buries the poor.

6 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

What is it good for?

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Absolutely nothin.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Say it again, this man has no Dick Cheney! Say say it again y'all!

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The rich....ask Dick Cheany

Also the first war that really soured relations with many western countries for the US

6 months ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

Why? What was different from Korea?

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? I have never heard this. Which western countries didn't like our stupid misadventures in Vietnam?

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

European nations generally viewed the Vietnam War with skepticism, ranging from vocal opposition to reluctant support, Sweden was one of the more extreme examples since we did not only take in US deserters but we also openly supported the north with medical supplies and training.

6 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I also didn't hear about Canada hunting down draft dodgers and deporting them back

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man I wish every decent country in the world would have an open border policy for US deserters and conscientious objectors during any of the U.S.'s near constant wars.

6 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

France for sure didn't, though, given that they had just lost vietnam immediately before and we were actually invading to support their puppet government?

6 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Really? Til

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sweden was not in NATO, that's why they felt more at liberty to defy the US.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Narrator" but they did go on to fight many more rich mens wars

Every vet I know happily voted for trump. One of them recently kicked it because he couldn't afford his tanks of oxygen anymore due to VA cuts. Oh, well.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A lot of the people in this photo voted emphatically for drumpf.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But totally not against communism! The other ones were about oil

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

20 years where degenerates in the military got their wish to rape and murder brown people with impunity while rich white guys got richer.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

they voted to send their kids to fight rich men's wars.

6 months ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 2

Well, stop .I fought in Afghanistan and Iraq and those definitely weren't another rich man's wars! Checks notes... forget i said that.

6 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Was about to say....got me in the first half

6 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Crazy, I scrolled to the comments to make this verbatim comment.

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, i like to toss out generic imgur comments every once in awhile to balance the sheets.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I feel like a hack!

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then there was Somalia where noone really know wtf was going on.

6 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

the 1990s were a weird time when the threat of Communism went away, and the international committee decided it would be a good time to try being world police. Turns out a bunch of assholes make for bad cops, and contributed directly to the rise of movements such as Islamism.

6 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

For clarity, do you mean jihadism?

6 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

no, though that has a bit to do with it too. The politicization of Islam has been a gradual process throughout the latter half of the century, but can arguably be said to have accelerated in the 90s.

6 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

The politicisation of Islam has been a thing at least since the first British incursion into Afghanistan in the early decades of the 19th Century. See, e.g., Return of a King by Wm Dalrymple.
