WIGEA Knows How to realease

Sim City 2015 was the greatest disappointment for me when it comes to games. Watched all the teasers, expected so much, got mediocrity

Every publisher does this.

EA deserves the hate. IE doesn't.

EA Games stands for Early Access

I always upvote Onizuka

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

There have been good games released in beta ie Subnautica and Dead by Daylight. EA has the capacity to do better.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Warframe. 4 years of beta.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Genuinely awesome F2P game, but too many bugs...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's most developers/publishers. No need to complete a game that can just be patched later

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is our fault. Every time you by an Early Access game or pay for in game items in a beta you say this OK.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

It really is. We complain, but out of hive mentality we keep buying in to greed. I just hope a stand is made when it finally goes too far...

EA = Early Access

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some Devs actually do care about their games, but they get fucked by deadlines. Not EA though.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Most recent example: Conan Exiles. They have literally patched ATLEAST once a day since it came out (even Saturday and Sunday)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

actually our devs do care asshat

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Think that's why Bethesda is going towards the model of not announcing games too soon anymore. Which I support completely

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It would still be nice if they released games that weren't completely broken.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dishonored 2 could have been a solid 9/10 game but they released it with performance issues and took way to long to fix them.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

sick of this meme, sucks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Better than most other shit

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

EA seems to actually be getting better about this this is more of a ubisoft thing

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Maybe, but they shouldn't have to. We've strayed so far of bringing a game out as a whole and if you didn't make it good you got nothing.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

im just saying that i think ubi fits a lot more then ea for this joke

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

EA cancelled command and conquer generals 2 and fired everyone because of office politics, The game was already in beta.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck EA. I miss Dawngate

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuckin EA

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Nobody ruins an existing franchise like they do

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You don't need to buy a game if it sucks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if only you knew how it worked

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ni-oh probably had the best Alpha and Betas of a recent game. Which is surprising for a console game. Lots of changes happened from feedback

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Played the demo. Seemed pretty cool but holy crap was it hard! I'm too casual for that :P

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Team Ninja, baby. I'm just disappointed I didn't see any rocket launcher ninjas...yet.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Would be better with Ubisoft. Ghost Recon Wildlands.....

9 years ago | Likes 159 Dislikes 4

Its fun with three friends on the hardest difficulty and no UI, had such a blast

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like to pretend Ubisoft doesn't exist. Everything is better that way.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Even though they get blasted with shit because they made a couple mistakes and have made up for that by supporting there games like crazy.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I holded a grutch against ubisoft until rainbow six siege came.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Would be better with every indie dev on Steam that just releases early access and stays there forever.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rainbow six is still toting around a "beta" ranked system since it's release a year ago.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Still . Siege is one the best fps in years . So much fun .

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's amazingly fun, just wishing that it received the support it requires to not be a bugfest with not hotfixes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or For Honor...

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 18

Or assassin's creed...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

What about For Honor

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

well there's a for honor open beta happening this weekend

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

Tomorrow, it starts tomorrow.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And it gets released on the 14th. Not enough time to fix any bugs or glitches found.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 16

Because it's not actually a beta, it's a stress test of a release candidate.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I was in the closed beta and by the end it worked perfectly.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

same here, I had no problem in the closed beta except for getting thrown off edges

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

There was a Closed Alpha and Beta that you clearly did not see. The Open Betas are for testing server load.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Does that mean they've changed their mind about having dedicated servers, or...?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Shit, there was the wildland beta last weekend too

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I actually did see them and I bet there are still going to be bugs in this beta.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

there were actually 2 closed betas. One in December and one in January

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Is it just me, or does wildlands look really boring and underwhelming?

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

Yes, a big open world with nothing in it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Youd be right. But lets see what people say about when its out.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I agree it's basically a Far Cry 4 Co-op mod.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shitty gameplay, clunky driving, ok graphics, boring AF story, repetitive missions, mile wide inch deep, casual as all hell. Typical Ubisoft

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's basically The Division in Mexico, lol.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree. I played the closed beta. It was boring and had no substance. I didn't feel a sense of adventure that I wanted to come back to.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don't think so. IMO Wildlands is a big Sandbox with a lot of possibilities it depends on the player what they make out of it.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Its a big sandbox with very little possible. Just the same mission over and over again + a boring ass story line

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

*possibilities

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think its what I was hoping from far cry and division. Hopefully It'll be lots of fun with friends.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I played that beta and it was absolutely amazing. Granted some issues but thats what a beta is for.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

I dont trust beta releases anymore

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're a semi good indicator though. Im still gonna wait a bit to get the game just to make sure theres no huge problems or anything.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was it a good copy paste from The Division

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

More like a blend of Ghost Recon, Far Cry and some attempts at imitating Metal Gear Solid V. Beta felt like a fairly competent co-op game.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It's not like the division, it similar to how the division was originally marketed, but shit.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Division is fuckin shit. this game was actually good.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

The only thing I really didn't like about it was the helicopter controls. Really unresponsive, and rather unintuitive.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually i really liked the helicopter controls. on PC at least. sure they were like, cartooney as in not very complicated but i enjoyed it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Granted im the kinda guy that just likes games basically no matter what unless they're really really bad.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least on XB1, the controls seemed to be helicopter like when you were moving slow, but when you got faster, it switch to plane-like ones.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only if you're playing it solo, like a lunatic. With friends, Wildlands is stupid fun, as long you like being tactical as all fuck.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

"tactical as fuck" only time i had fun with friends or solo was when i went around doing stupid shit. game is braindead easy and casual.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I agree. It's ridiculous how little tactics the game requires even at the highest difficulty

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So... Sounds like a knockoff version of Arma 3 from that description...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

It's nothing like Arma. It's more like Ghost Recon Future Soldier in an Open World and without all the goofy future tech nonsense.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah okay. That makes more sense. I don't really play Ubisoft games other than the old assassins creeds so I hadn't been following it at all.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's basically The Division in Mexico , lmao.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except for honor was the shit in beta

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I can't wait for the open beta tomorrow, I'm pumped to start playing that game

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you play in any of the other betas?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wasn't able to then, but this time I'm going to be there

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was lucky enough to have a friend give me the code. Just some advise, don't let the learning curve get you down. I spent my first few
