i'm having a bad brain day, but I'm trying to push it away. if you would like to join me in beating mu sadness away with a baseball bat made out of stolen memes, i'd love to have you stay a while.
having depression plus brain shit that makes my executive functioning basically non-existent means i am v bad at getting things done. even if they're easy. even if they are essential.

this comic always makes me giggle.
okay but seriously where do i get glow in the dark dinosaurs?
i'm cool and mysterious!
bigfoot? nah man that's the Lisbon Meat Man!
presented without comment.
I want pet millipedes.
pray you do not disturb the isopod further.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
this is my favorite type of joke.
like, the subversion of the expected through the use of absurdity is absolutely the backbone of so much humor, especially online, but god it's so good. i have a folder filled entirely with jokes that fall into this category that i need to dig up.
my best relationship advice would be to find a partner who loves and supports you as you are and as you wish to be.
humans will never be static; we ebb and flow as life barrels forward and all we can try to do is grow towards being better than who we were the day before. we won't always succeed, and sometimes we will be unrecognizable after life has taken its toll. finding the person/people who don't expect you to remain who you were in the past.
sometimes you will grow apart from people as life bumps you in different directions. this often hurts like a motherfucker. but the people who see you as you are as well as who you could be are the ones worth holding tight to.
i dunno, maybe this seems obvious, but whatever. i've found this advice to be helpful, maybe it will help some of y'all, too.
fuckin frogfish, man
(it's a wooping crane)

(usted is the formal version of the pronoun tú in spanish)
"but you seem so normal!"
"yes thank you it was the vicious childhood bullying that forced me to hide as much of my autism as possible so that i wouldn't be *completely* ostracized" :)
i knew a person who literally died in a hot air balloon accident. and yes. she was.
snot grampus.
):
tell your friends what you love about them. it might be awkward at first, but imo having even just one person that you can go to and tell them that you care immensely about them and having them tell you the same can be a literal lifesaver.
that little bastard is the source of like 85% of my problems.
y'all ever just scream as loud as you can? it does wonders to make things just a bit more bearable when I'm stressed or angry. for those of you who don't have a space where you won't get the cops called on you for screaming bloody murder, dense pillows (like, the memory foam kind in particular) are pretty good at muffling sound. also, in your car while you're on the highway (just please be careful and pay attention to the road and what you're doing!!)
i sent this to my partner and they told me they would be a little disappointed if i didn't do this at our wedding
me when i still tutored regularly. the kids are alright.
ah.... hmmm.... oh.......
i'm in this picture and don't like it.

Since I was reminded of their existence I would like to take this moment to tell all of you. I hate centipedes more than anything on earth.
TheMadOnion
They're like spiders but a hundred times worse.
BessotenJenny
I like how #15 implies one: That you and all your friends go to hell and two: that you all die at the same time.
sirfanciesadrought
Underrated dump. You say you can't execute stuff & yet, created a big dump with commentery. But I know what you mean. I don't have a single
sirfanciesadrought
post here. I too can't get things done. I've planned a thousand things and executed barely anything. I, too enjoy the $37 sorta humour.
yeetholejones
Thank you for this, honestly!! ?

Hey buddy, I hope things get more manageable, but also we're in a global pandemic. It's even more okay to not be okay.

Yes it does, thank you for your thoughtful response

As a tattoo artist, can confirm the last one
iExplainTheJoke
Hey quick question why didn't my mom love me
DeepVeinZombosis
Yup. People tell us everything. EVERY. THING.
JackHammahTattoos
Us and bartenders... Our customers tend to be weirdos that like/think they desrve pain tho
DeepVeinZombosis
Yeah. I think we have the edge tho. Much more of an intimate long term situation with us and our clients
derpwagon
Could also be the relationship formed with an artist who does work over many years. I consider myself a client, but my artist also a friend.
HunterThompsonsMissingHands
Bartender here, can confirm. The most basic people will peel back so many layers with the ease of a few cocktails, then act like nothing >
HunterThompsonsMissingHands
Weird happened the next time you see them sober. Like dude, you let some shit fly that a therapist would have a field day over. Come on.
Megahudson
Been there done that. For me it was more about being in a shit place and having no one to talk to. Depression and alcoholism go hand in hand
derpwagon
There is something cathartic about it. Maybe the end result is meaningful enough that the associated pain is 'good'? Dunno. I want more ink.
JackHammahTattoos
It's addictive!
derpwagon
It certainly is. I checked out your work, you're damn good.
