There's still whimsy in the world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for!

#9 urgh, looks fun, totally useless for locking a bike to. Sheffield stands are cheap and perfect, but designers can't seem to resist coming up with impractical designs.

#3 how do you know those are goth skulls?

This is what the world should look like. Not the minimalist hellscape of no public seating, bike racks, and plain white and grey interiors

Dandelion “clock”? Wth? (Oh, google tells me the name comes from a children’s game of blowing on them and isn’t anything official.) Fifty years here on Earth and never heard that.

Congratulations on being one of today's 10,000!

#1 Dandelion what now? Oh it says "clocks".

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Which also, huh???? How tf is that in any way a clock??

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's just the word for it. I've also heard them called blowballs, which is much more descriptive

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The word for it is dandelion

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's the word for the flower as a whole. The spherical seed head that makes up a part of the flower, however, has its own name(s).
