I'm asking for help, Imgur.

Imgur, I'm at the bottom of my barrel financially and mentally after the last two months. My father died unexpectedly in April, and his death expenses wiped out my savings. My mother cannot support herself and I can do almost nothing to assist her given her ailing mental health and inability to work.

Last week, my car broke down 2-and-a-half hours from home, requiring me to spend almost $900 for a tow and another $900 in repairs. On my way home from the shop, the car overheated, so I took it back and now the shop has told me they cannot identify the cause of the fault, saying they'd need to disassemble the engine to explore. I can't afford more repair costs, and I can't afford to replace it or pay for transport either without jeopardizing my ability to pay rent. I fear losing my job now for being unable to make the commute.
