Customary final product shot.

The Begining

Started with an inner frame, just inside the wheel wells.

Covered and air nailed to my frame.

Measured and jigsawed out where I wanted my tv. Used the scrap for the tv box.

needed to raise the platform a bit to clear the fender wells.

used cardboard to pattern the truck bedsides. Got those moccasins at goodwill for $1 USD by the way.

seem to fit rather nicely. They will rest on the fender wells.

Fuck. I need another brace where the tv goes. Also, yes we got that golf simulator for free.

TV box. Used scrap from jigging my tv hole.

I figured you need a table when you tailgate. This is the one piece of wood I bought. it was like 20 dollars at Menards.

Had some vinyl wood flooring laying around for a building at our farm we never used. Used the same patterns to cut the sides and glued down with spray adhesive.

I thought we would need power to charge phones and what not. I had some extra batteries from tractors and a power converter from a repo'd truck I had saved.. and whammy.. we have power.

Shit. Need to stain the table.

Fuck. Only stain we have matching,..... kind of.

Oh yeah. I put some all weather speakers in the side compartments. Jigsawed out the holes again.

It would pose some problems later with my battery placement but it worked out.

Starting to shape up. Most kinks worked there way out at this point.

Hey the tv fit right in too! I took it out of an RV I bought on craigslist on the cheap. It is actually a 12v tv.

Cut my plexiglass to size of the box.

starting to wire stuff up. I also hooked up a google chome to the USB.

Oh hey.. there is a speaker shot.

I bought this AUX port online. Not every one can stream bluetooth. I thought it would be a nice addition. It is hooked up to the tv. and the Tv is hooked up to the amplifier.

That should raise the tv. Installed an actuator that is used to turn solar panels. It is on a swich, hooked to one of the batteries.

Realyl shaping up. Plexi is installed. Held in by 6 screws.

also, working side compartments for storage. Table slides in all the way. We should be ready to tailgate.
