Great. Now I'm gonna wave to every flag I see.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 for happy ending

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lizards With Scissors sounds like a punk bank from the 70s

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These need to be printed postcards or greeting cards. Would purchase. Would send. People still do that, if ironically.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My word! What sort of gentleman has no monocle insurance?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A trajeudi.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm definitely using some of these tragedies as inspiration for dnd writing

Tragedy #311 - The struggle is real

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are amazing.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are hil- foofaraw? I've been looking for that word for ages!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"... a bow window that looms over the sidewalk like the thrusting ram of a trireme, embarnacled with Victorian foofawfery."

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are just absurd enough to be almost funny. The excellent art doesn't hurt, of course.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fortunately, the lizards with scissors incident was stemmed when they all started running.

11 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 1

The floor is tea!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Frankly if you don't have monocle insurance is your own fault you damnable, irresponsible wretch.

11 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

A banjo infestation is the opposite of a problem.

11 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

*BANJO INTENSIFIES*

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I for one welcome our teakettle overlords!

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

As do I, my friend.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

wtf..

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well now I have to start waving at flags

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Zombie Barber needs his own series

11 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

A canned laughter sitcom where the owner of the barber shop can't fire him because the zombie is married to his sister.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Or he is a legally protected minority and it would be discrimination

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I've had 4 of these happen to me sadly :(

11 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 1

I'm very sorry. Some people have very hard lives. If there's anything I can do...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Condolences on your foofaraw.

11 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

Banjo infestation? Me too...me too.

11 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

I just adopted a hillbilly. Cleared the problem right up, and he'll even scrounge for roadkill on occasion. Very low maintenance.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sorry to hear about the latest kettle attack.

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry about your lungfish

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

damn lizards nicking everyone's ankles

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Banjo infestation again? Me too :( So bad.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry about Triceratops. I know she meant a lot to you.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You couldn't reach the blueberries?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, my kerfuffle never got to see the ocean aswell...

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

damn lizards nicking everyone's ankles

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which four. I bet at least one was lung fish foreclosure.

11 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 0

Well with these interest rates, how can one even afford to hold onto them anymore?

11 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

.... I wonder what kind of book you'd get if you threw all of these into one story, and treated them all as credible and not ridiculous.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't even throw in a character whose purpose is to go "WHAT THE SHIT?", just, that's Dave. He quit labyrinth work because he hates his dad.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Had the pleasure of meeting the creator of this series. they sell a hard copy book of all these. This guy is awesome, support him if you can

11 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

I bought one of these for a friend's b-day and another for myself. He ended up giving me a couple free prints because he ran late. Great guy

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed! Had a fifteen minutes conversation with him about this series. It's his passion project, clearly loves it.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you have a link? Or am I gonna have to Google it myself? *sigh* I have to do EVERYTHING in this house.

11 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Hey, Imgur is a big house, man, we all have our chores. Some people google responsibly, some google for science.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I do see Amazon sells the hard copy of the book though, although not direct I am sure it would still help him out! Benjamin Dewey

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

https://www.etsy.com/shop/BenjaminDewey?section_id=all - i have failed everyone.... this is the only store I can find attached to him.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You're doing the lords work

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sounds . . . tragic. :-)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Alicorn?

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

The only alicorns i know are from My Little pony, they're unicorned pegasus.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Ah! No wonder I didn't get the reference. Thanks :)

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Though, i'm sure unicorns with wings are older than the church.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But the unicorn in that picture doesn't have any visible wings...

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That's because MLP misuses the word Alicorn as "winged unicorn" rather than its original "unicorn horn material," which could detect poison.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*shoulder shrug* It's a can't confirm nor deny situation here.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The material a unicorn's horn is made of was called Alicorn

And so the fever worsens . . .

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I think you can get a prescription for that... if you have a fever.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You bastard, I actually looked for it.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

... Why?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

http://tragedyseries.tumblr.com/ There's a TON of them here on the artist's site. There's also a print book with some exclusive stories, too

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

+1 for sauce

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

I know the author. He's actually published these as a book. I hope this generates some sales for him.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Foofaraw.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That's what I got from this. A new beautiful word.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#363 is actually making me sad. Poor Triceratops!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, of them all, that one hurt. WTF?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How the hell does one think up these scenarios? +1 for use of kerfuffle though. My favorite word.

11 years ago | Likes 1071 Dislikes 2

probably a random word generator and a dumb face

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Yes, mate, kerfuffle is a beauty, hard K and R, softened by the Fs. My fav too.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It's my favorite word too! SOULMATES.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

(Me too)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I cant believe this comment garnered me so many like. Normally im downvoted to oblivion..

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

What?! Sky rains from the sky and the world's upside down up.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Knew these drugs weren't THAT good. Def not worth a sister good.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Reminds me of little Britain

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I like old timey-wimey words. Persnickety, clatterfart, curmudgeon, bumfiddler, humpenscrump. Old English/ European & real fun to say!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Are you the guy from TribeTwelve?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Drugs are one hell of a thing

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Nope. Shenanigans and Exodus are the 2 best words ever.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tis an excellent word. Definitely in my top 10, including nincompoop, shenanigans, and sprocket.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Sprocket, eh? Are you also a widget affectionado?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I enjoy a good widget, but I honestly mostly just like saying the word "sprocket"

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I prefer argle-bargle.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Ermahgerd! Ergle-bergle!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They're all Benjamin Dewey's work! You can read the rest here: http://tragedyseries.tumblr.com/

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

no thanks

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Foofaraw was new to me.

11 years ago | Likes 176 Dislikes 2

To me as well. I intend to use it. lol.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you watch Firefly, they use it in Shindig. "Too much foofaraw. If I'm going to wear a dress, I'd want something with some slink."

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You want a slinky dress? I can buy you a slinky dress. Captain, can I have money for a slinky dress?

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's saying "free for all" when you're tongue-twisted drunk. "In-a-gadda-da-vida" was actually "In The Garden Of Eden" at first, e.g.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ok, people in my office have been saying Foofaraw all morning. Which one of you is a fellow imgurian???

11 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

I'm Spartacus

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I'm Brian. And so's my wife.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No. I'M SPARTACUS!
