They modified their Kim Jong-il /Asian voice for skeletons with no lips. That's brilliant. And no longer very racist.

Welp. I thought of a new gag for the SkeleBros next DnD session. Thanks again for the smiles, Matt and Trey, you glorious assholes 🫡

I see all the reviews and they basically say that that food is inedible. Plus the wait times to go there are outrageous. Very crowded. I haven’t seen one review where there wasn’t some level of disappointment. This is a nice touch though.

I haven’t been, but my understanding is it was inedible before the South Park team bought it, and it has essentially kept the atmosphere while turning the food around. I’m interested and want to try it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m not saying it isn’t better. I saw the paramount documentary on how they rebuilt it. It was in violation of health codes and was just flat out dangerous. But the 60 minutes story on having a top chef seems to me to be a stretch of the truth. Just gotta keep improving that’s all!

went there few months ago. food was ok. LOT better than it used to be. still just a fun night out wich is arguably more important.

I expect sub-par dining experience anyway because I would imagine it's hard to juggle a well paid staff AND above average food at affordable prices at a theme restaurant.

When I was in my teens, my dad took us to a murder mystery dinner show that ended with some crowd participation comedy bits. I could not tell you what I ate or if it was shit, but I can tell you my dad got on stage and got his head bonked with a giant foam bat to the beat of Bohemian Rhapsody and I'll never forget it. I'll absolutely deal with mediocre food for a good time.

“What the fuck is a frush?”

If ever the road takes me that way, I must visit the Shrine!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want to visit that restaurant one day

You should watch the documentary, highly recommend!

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Tarnation!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Watched it the other night. Jeebus I can't believe the amount of effort and money that went into something I'm sure they thought would overall be a goof. Don't get me wrong though, I would 100% go there if I lived near it. Looks fucking rad.

Thanks. Should realized it was south park at least.

Lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By their restaurant I of course assume it is Casa Bonita.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Skeletons are funny. I would go to this restaurant just to watch them.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do they do the mariachis and water fall diving too? Asking for a friend...

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah - it's fantastic

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Yes, they still have the cliff divers and, according to the cellphone footage I took, the Mariachi band is all female....

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

THAT... sounds... AWESOME!!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they made it a real menu and good with food. It used to be total shit. it used to be like one of those El Paso "Mexican food" tv dinners.

2 years ago | Likes 298 Dislikes 1

Or worse, Monterey brand.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sopapillas are all i remember but I went as a kid.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I believe"Mexican" "food" is more accurate.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

When I went like 18 years ago I don't remember anything wrong with the food...

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Idk we went back last year to try it and the food was better but still pretty awful. At least not food poisoning awful but definitely not amazing. Really the only reason to go is for the sopapillas.

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

After a day at Elitch Gardens as kids, it tasted fine. I hope to go back.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'll have you know it was also cooked in a dirty microwave.

2 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

*seasoned microwave

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'll have the Hot Pocket.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Would you like it ice cold or boiling magma hot?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

tasted like it. One time I bought the most expensive stuff on the menu to see if it was any good or better and it was still shit.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

The trick is to drink 5 or 6 beers before you order the food.

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

damn, I was doing it backwards

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I’ve always loved casa Bonita. The sopapillas were bomb.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Throw on some sugar and honey my gawd so good and unlimited...just throw that lil flag up

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Went to the one in Tulsa when I was a kid.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Too bad the old moldy carpet makes the place sink so bad.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I thought they got rid of that.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They did, poster above you is just trolling. They put millions into the reno

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Thanks. Hard to tell because I'm not even in the same state lol.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the last 3 years?

Yes.

What is Parker and Stone's view on the Orange Fool and his Flying Idiots?

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 23

Cause they don't care

Well considering they did an entire two part episode to sincerely apologize to Al Gore after they ripped on him for believing in climate change and refuse to do anymore "President Garrison" episodes because they can't stand to see him in the news anymore.....well I mean that should answer your question.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They made any discussion about climate change impossible throughout the 2000s. They're responsible for a lot of shittiness we're dealing with. They also treated Trump with kid gloves, while he deserved the Mel Gibson treatment. Unforgivable.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I remember them laying it on thick with garrison impersonating him but I guess that could be interpreted as taking it easy since they didn't actually call him Trump. They only had a little bit of Hillary iirc she wasn't really the focal point of those episodes a decade ago.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They're libertarians and hate both sides

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

What does it matter?

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Would you buy / like nazi art KNOWING it's nazi art? As an example, of course.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 5

Have you considered getting a hobby? It must be exhausting trying to involve politics in every aspect of your life.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

I tried saying the same thing a few weeks ago. it didn't go well. people downvoted the crap out of me for saying I don't want to hate always

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This place is just Facebook for the new era of boomers. Lot of people who just want to be angry and doompost about politics ad nauseum.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Far as anyone can tell, because they openly put their views into Southpark, they hate all sides

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

equally

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Just the other day I zapped by & watched the 'Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich' episode. It seemed a little outdated to me, the 'hating both sides' part, given the current state of USA affairs.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Yeah, even then, I think it was very obvious that one side was worse, but it was close enough that I could understand someone being more centrist.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Could be, but I can see it. Both sides are deeply flawed, one in more ways than the other. You can dislike them both and critique both, while still voting for "the lesser of two turds"

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

As I recall, giant douche was clearly the better candidate, and was supposed to represent a democrat

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought the joke was you couldn't tell which was which, I haven't seen the episode in over a decade though
