I kept seeing this picture appear on my Facebook wall. First time I scrolled past it but then it appeared another 3 or 4 times so I thought I would actually get myself informed (don't watch TV/read the news)
Reverse image searched it...
I thought this would be the easiest way to find an article about what happened. This image is actually from 2013 and was part of the bombings by the Syrian Government.

So what was actually going on???
No civilians were killed or injured but they had power outages in the city. I am not saying the bombings aren't terrible for the civilians in Raqqa because there have been civilians killed in other bombings, just not the ones from France (at this point).
