Not all heroes wear capes

This is my SO and this is also the first time i share this picture with anyone. It was in the hospital, when we lost our unborn. It was tragic and painful yet this man never left my side. I just went to toilet and took this picture without him noticing.
We’ve been through a lot in the last two years. My father passed, we lost our little boy, he lost his step mom. I got very sick. First I struggled with PTSD and anxiety after my father passed away, then i got two autoimmune diseases. The miscarriage was a tragedy. His stepmom passed because of cancer...The only reason we keep our sanity and move on is because of him. He is the most caring and supportive person I’ve ever met in my life, my solid rock,...it makes me cry while writing it (damn onions)... he brought me back down to earth in moments of anxiety, he believed in me when i already gave up. The moment i got the phonecall about my dad, he was with me and since then never left. He is a good person, with a good heart and good intentions. He is smart, intelligent yet very clumsy. And today is his birthday.

EDIT: Thank you so much everyone! I read all your messages but I am unable to answer everyone, sorry for that! I opended imgur and I am overwhelmed from all your beautiful and heartwarming responses. When he saw the post, we both started crying. It was such a surprise for him. Thanks to all of you, this day has become even more special to us.

We laughed really hard about the Propeller Hat! It's actually an IV pole!
