I thought Luke making him choose was some bullshit. Why couldn’t he have both?!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn’t like that gave an ultimatum. It involved believing in absolutes and only the Sith deal in absolutes. Just didn’t fit a Jedi.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Side note...fake Mark Hamill face looked way better this time.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

should hv taken both

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He picked both. I think that will be revealed in S3. Not like Grogu can't take a break and train later when you live close to 1000 years.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hypocrite! Luke left and still came back to finish his training.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mando and Grogu could be flying back to the planet Luke is on? Ending scene paralleled Luke and R2 heading back to Dagobah in RoTJ

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have to keep Grogu out of Kylo's life some how.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kilo Rens kills him eventually right? Like based on the movie?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least he's honest. He gave Grogu a real choice unlike most Jedi of old. Leave or commit, don't half-ass it & later fall to the dark side.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 1

I kinda hoped he'd do to Luke what Luke did to Yoda. Train for a while, develop skills, then nope out to help his friends half-trained.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Anyone elsethink it's bullshit that the guy who would literally have rather died than kill his corrupted father wants Grogu to give up love?

Crazy religious nutjob or Daddy Djinn, uncle Bobaand Aunty Fennec and the power ranger kids

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A beskar chain shirt would've been rather useful to those jedi whom Luke saw in Grogu's memories, doncha think?

4 years ago | Likes 754 Dislikes 1

Chain links don't stop non-solids from passing through the holes. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Yeah, but, like ... it was a gift, which makes it bullshit, somehow. Oh, Jedi. You cafeteria creed disasters.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well until panakin skywanker walks in the room

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

The Mithral protected Frodo so yea, it would’ve helped the Jedi

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Not only that, he was a padawan.. he probably learned as much or more about the force as luke, teaching was more comprehensive back then.

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Luke should’ve made him a fellow teacher at the school

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also…wouldn’t he eventually outgrow the beskar shirt? He’ll never outgrow a light saber…just saying…

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Yes but getting a couple of hundred years out of a shirt would be pretty good. Plenty of time to find another armourer that can extend it.

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Not to mention Luke's own students when Ben Solo turns to the Dark Side.

4 years ago | Likes 202 Dislikes 3

Who?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry, are you referring to some alternative star wars time line that I don't know about?

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

In all fairness, I would freak out and join the other side if I woke up in the middle of the night to my uncle holding a sword over me

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When he made Ben turn to the dark side.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, would have helped then when Luke almost became the youngling slayer 2.0

4 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

that never happened. I dont know what youre talking about

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Disney thought it would be a good idea to make luke, the most badass character in SW, a little bitch. Good thing it's legends and not cannon

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can we treat those movies as non canon pleazzzeee?

4 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 3

Why? They were fine. Well except 9 that was pretty much all just hot garbage

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Headcannon can be whatever you want it to be

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I need the official stamp on it to rest easy

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A cortosis weave shirt could have helped save Havet and averted Desann joining the Dark Side

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love you

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fucking lord I’m with you there, buddy. I refuse to acknowledge them.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I honestly tried to keep an open mind, but seeing Mark Hammil literally getting depressed over his character treatment

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did too. Then you see people completely shilling over the sequels. I’m like are you people real?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what movies

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The Disney ones

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the joke went miles over your head

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, in whatever time it takes for the Grogu series to come out it might all be retconned.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I certainly hope so

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would have been real helpful to Qui Gon Jinn!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ya im guessing the mandos dont usually share and they do fight to take any beskar back.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lasers are made of light. I can't imagine that chain mail would do literally anything.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 25

The amount of morons who don't understand how chain links wouldn't stop a non-solid from passing through the holes is too damn high.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Think back a few episodes back to The Rescue. When Moff Gideon tried shooting Grogu, Din jumps between them and takes the shots. It was 1)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Think back to literally every episode of The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. Every Mandalorian has a solid breastplate. What you said is

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

stupid. Chain links don't stop non-solids from passing through the holes. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

..the beskar armor which stopped the bolts. So even if it doesn't *completely* stop blasters, it's enough of an edge to survive a few hits.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Chain links don't stop non-solids from passing through the holes. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Star Wars blasters do not fire lasers. They fire highly charged plasma bursts.

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Ok, Then this might shock you, but plasma also isn't a solid, so a thing with holes in it wouldn't stop them and it still does nothing.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 12

It certainly wouldn't be as useful as plate, true - but it would still be useful against a lightsaber blade.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Stormtroopers don't use those. The comment I replied to was in reference to Jedi being shot at. It'd be like Sean Astin wearing his 50 First

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 10

Beskar is an indestructible Space Alloy™ that rapidly dissipates heat & energy (but can somehow be hot-forged in a Mandalorian Space Forge™)

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Essentially Jedi kryptonite. The only space material that withstands all space weapons including lightsabers.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

There’s also Cortosis and Phrik

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The Dark Saber was heating up the spear rather quickly in the Din/Gideon fight. Apply more heat than what dissipates & it'd likely melt 1)

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Din explicitly said his breastplate would be destroyed by the sniper rifle Fennec used. It's not magically indestructible.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

2) ..after a little while. Or at least become malleable enough to shape.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

People here acting like the writers of this show actually gave a shit. Hahah

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But why is Luke following the "no attachments" rule? He saved the galaxy through his unconditional love for his father. He's all about that.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*safEty

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This would have been the perfect opportunity for Luke to be a tricky mentor, make Grogu choose then give him both. Instead they're >

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

is this from a thing? is a new episode of mandalorian out?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Grogu was in Luke’s x-wing, piloted by R2. Also Luke left his training with Yoda to help his friends in ESB. Parallels are being drawn.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Luke was also an adult, and Yoda didn't say "if you don't listen to me I won't ever train you" he said "Don't go or you might fall/die."

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, TEENY CHAINMAIL! <3

“Look at you, so fancy, bring him some dung worms!”

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

i was hoping he would pick up the dark sword and do flippy jedi shzz

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am glad to see a gorgu meme that doesnt voice him the way yoda speaks

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Beskar?! Why Mister Grogu you are full of surprises.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Luke isn't repeating mistakes. He gave a long lived person, the choice of going to spend the short time his 'found father' has in the world

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that's more choice than the old order ever gave a possible jedi

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think Luke being a dick in this story is great storytelling within universe. Please stay for my TED talk: (1)

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

The Disney+ shows are canon. The Disney trilogy for better or worse, is canon. They needed a way to bridge Luke from Ep. 6 to being (2)

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Luke in Ep. 8. He catastrophically fails Ben Solo, as we all know. So, Luke not getting it right with Grogu checks out. Luke doesn't (3)

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Learn the Jedi ways of teaching were flawed until far too late. His failures with Grogu and Ben and the rest of his students is why (4)

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He is so hesitant with Rey. Book of Boba Fett got this flaw of Luke's correct for us to witness. Bravo, Dave Filoni and Co. (End)

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

This was very helpful, thank you. Still doing like what they did with his character, but this helps.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

(1/2) Hot take: this narrative choice was made to explain why Grogu isn't present in the sequel trilogy while still training him enough to

4 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Please don't associate those abominations with the canon timeline.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

This also alleviates the looming anxiety of whether the Knights of Ren got him when they razed the temple

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

(2/2) be a significant combatant rather than an escort mission as The Mandalorian continues its story.

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

It also checks out with the fact Luke is a flawed teacher. Grogu is not the first student he fails because he clings to the old ways.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Luke and Mando definitely going to be having a convo in season 3 haha which makes me wonder if this will set up to Luke’s quote

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“It’s time for the Jedi to end”. After realizing his greatest mistake I wonder if he believes Grogu will be the one to change the Jedi

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the better

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even more-so with the line, to paraphrase, "I'm not even sure if i'm teaching as much as he's remembering this stuff" that Luke said 1/

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

it gives them creative license to have Grogu "remember" more and more powerful skills and abilities seemingly out of nowhere.

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Or, you know, they could have not tried to shoe-horn the Skywalkers in and just done a completely original story.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Being Old (school), I liked the Skywalker tie-in. I also like that it may have been a drive by. Nostalgia isn't always a bad thing. IMHO.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I love my cigar, too, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...Skywalker as a drive-by nod of the head to what has gone before...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want a master Grogu comic. Raised as a mando, yet practices the Jedi way. Prefers a defensive style but will wreck yo shit

4 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 1

He would likely become THE Mandalore.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Legends did have the opposite, Bardan Jusik, who was a Jedi that became a Mandolorean.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Could be part of a Grey Jedi beginning

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Rocking a saber AND blaster, Jedi robes over top Mando armor.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Tarre Viszla but he's a Yoda

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Naming a Mando after my favorite breed of dog is pretty cool of them.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's not pronounced the same, but they are good boys

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s pretty well set up to flash forward a couple hundred years at some point with young adult Grogu as a protagonist.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Master Grogu could be the one to bring a major shift in how a jedi should interact with the force. Finding a balance -

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Between Mando&Jedi practices could bring balance. Mando culture is war torn but there was also a peaceful side as seen in TCW

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

None of the Mandalorians Grogu knows are peaceful role models. A middle ground between "killing for fortune and glory" &

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"avoid killing whenever possible" isn't much of a philosophy.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Very interested to see how it will play out

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then take a nap

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

or even better, he can write it himself, then change the names around so he doesn't get sued.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Luke is trying to avoid past mistakes. Leia had attachments and gave up. Luke's father had to give up family and killed everyone.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

Except that Vader was only ever redeemed by his family attachments. Having a secret family was what allowed his manipulation by Palpatine

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

To be fair, his attachment to Padme and his mother is what pushed him to the dark side. That coupled with his deep connection to the 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Force made it all too easy for him to be influenced by the dark side. 2/2

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Attachements are a problem, that has been shown time and again. The real issue lies in the JEDI pretending the probem doesn't exist and 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

thus avoid adressing the problem, which is the problematic part, their true downfall. 2/2

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're basically teaching abstinence based sex-ed but with attachments. We all know how well that style works

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ultimately, that's a nonissue. Grogu could spend the rest of Din's life by his side and would still have centuries to cultivate his powers.

4 years ago | Likes 482 Dislikes 3

Won't the galaxy need his powers LONG before that? Just in case some evil alien called Snoke appears and blows up billions of people?

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

There will always be Snoke that needs to be retired.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah but if Snoke/The Senate had won the galaxy would either be destroyed or enslaved. Either way tons of dead people likely including Grogu

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Those things didn't happen. Rey fell from the top of the crashed star destroyer and hallucinated all that while she lay dying on Jakku.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Literally any one of those idiot force ghosts could instruct him, including Yoda. Oh hell, Anakin.

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

teach him how to deal with opponents having the high ground

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The force ghosts are only visible to those already trained in the force

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Luke saw Obi-Wan in ANH and his force training up to that point was.... limited.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Actually, I think he heard* Obi Wan

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Luke could see Obi-wan in Empire strikes back and he had shit for training. Grogu can lift bigger shit than luke could.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like thats why Luke was so painfully honest with Grogu. He wanted to make the choice to leave easier for him

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well now he won't get murdered by emo Ren

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

…and more importantly, cultivate MASS!!! v

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Are you forgetting about the last time that they started training a Jedi that was too old??

4 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

I mean, Grogu was already 50 at the start of the first season. Also he was technically somewhat trained by Jedi order already.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure age in this context refers to stage of development within the life cycle of one's species, rather than time since birth.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's because they've formed attachments that are nigh-impossible to break, as Grogu's formed with Mando; this is an chance for him to >

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

let free himself from that attachment, possibly by Mando "living to death", then return to his Jedi training in a better frame of mind.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but he was destined to bring balance to the force anyway and ppl have a history of going from light to dark and vice versa all the time

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There was a much more balanced number of jedi to sith afterwards.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Luke?

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Ummmmm, the SECOND to last jedi to receive training too late!

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah...it's literally Anakin (who /also/ had a sith lord literally manipulating everyone to turn him specifically and /still/ almost held

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

out) and Luke (who received barely any training and held off the dark side when the time was right) as examples.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But then Luke would be dead, and there would be nobody to train grogu

4 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 2

Luke said Grogu was remembering more than he was teaching. Learning the force to an already sensitive creature? Cakewalk

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Maybe Din's new quest is to gather the teachings of Tarre Vizsla. If a Jedi will not train grogu, somebody must. It is the way.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Perhaps... /play sinister music... another Skywalker there is.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe he could read from ?fb

4 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

So there are some r cords that say powerful force user Togruta can live 200 years, so maybe Ahsoka could be the master after Din died.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well Luke became a Jedi with bugger all training from Yoda. He didn’t spend years training so Grogu could become great on his own

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

There were force users other than the Jedi.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

This. The Jedi are actually kind of weird about it, forbidding Jedi from having emotional attachments to people. It's extremism.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the trauma bonding Luke tries to pull with Grogu letting him watch Mando leave but not see him. Chainmail ATW

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Meh. Grogu likely already has more formal training than Luke. Luke's had a matter of weeks to months of actual training. Unless Grogu JUST

4 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 2

got to the Temple, he's had years before Order 66.

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Except grogu is clearly still mentally an infant despite his age. So there's only so many kinds of training you can give him.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Clearly an infant minded student would be given the choice to leave of their own free will… the will of an infant……

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He could just pull a Rey, and pull training out of his ass.

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Just to be clear in the OT Luke receives next to no training and becomes and amazing Jedi in no time flat

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Luke is shown receiving training from Obi-Wan before he does any force shit, Rey doesn't even know she has it before she's using it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Anikin intuitively uses the force to podrace. As a child. Without formal training.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She received training. The montage sequence unfortunately was cut from the film.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

She mind-tricked James Bond, resisted Kylo's mind probe, out-pulled him on the lightsaber, and defeated him in saber combat with no training

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So . . . she didn't

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Given every detail of Luke's story it was disappointing to see him repeating the mistakes of the original Jedi

4 years ago | Likes 280 Dislikes 0

I wanted a scene where Grogu makes the choice, and then Luke explains that he understands, because he made the exact same choice once (ESB).

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hopefully we’ll get a flashback in Mando season 3

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I choose to believe that’s why he gave him the choice instead of saying cast off your belongings and attachments and become a Jedi no backsy

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Even sent R2 to give him a ride to his dad.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

psst, that's the setup for the last jedi

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s how people are though. Bound to repeat the same mistakes.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can't be worse than what he did in the EU. There he was boning a force ghost inhabiting the body of one of his students...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

For a bunch of people who can surpass death they sure did fuck all to teach and guide Luke all but like twice lol

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, well Hollywood execs don't like anything that doesn't fit previously analyzed formula. EU will always be the true canon to me.

4 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 3

Word.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the way.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sames.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

While I do agree it does make sense though. Luke was pretty much on his own and was in his mid to late 20s trying to rebuild the Jedi order

4 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 2

Probably leaned on the Jedi texts to much but what else could he do? Not like he had a council to discuss difficult topics with

4 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

And who knows how often he was able to speak with Yoda, Obiwan and Anakin

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Yeah, speaking to two jedi masters isn't exactly the best position to be in, especially when three of them are ghosts.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

*angry anakin noises*

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Interesting how Luke did not have to give up his attachments ( Leah and Han) to train

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He kinda had the same choice (different circumstances though) the armor = Han & Leia and the saber = stay and finish your training

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's probably why he didn't end up becoming like Vader, who was trained to bottle his emotions and be ok with losing friends/ family.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In which he would have not been pressured by the old ways and would know that connections don't lead to the dark side, since he had it. So

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

We’ll yea connections don’t but attachments do and his attachment to Leia almost got him pretty close in his last battle with Vader

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And Vaders attachment is what saved the day

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He is rebuilding it, but not having any influence of their shitty traditions or fears or anything. So, it doesn't actually make sense.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

This is why the old EU comics (Shadows etc.) were *so* much better as a continuation of the OT than what we got in movie form.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Once he gets his hands on the texts would he not be influenced by their shitty traditions?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nope, because he never read them to learn what those wags are.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I know it's moot now but in the books he very much does not repeat the mistakes of the past and allows attachments. Works much better.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I do wish the sequels would of gone more that direction. Kinda felt like there was only one way to go after TFA

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well yeah he openly married Mara jade what a savage

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Married the hot ginger who tried to murder him like a true boss ass Jedi then has some Jedi kids. Made his own padawans hahahahaha

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mandalorian takes place shortly after ROTJ, he still hasn't learned about how shitty the Jedi Order was. In TLJ he makes very clear that...

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

the Jedi Order's nonsense rules cut them off from the people they were supposed to help, helping Sidious rise, and creating Vader.

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

He was still attached to the idea somewhat, even acknowledging this. Yoda helped him move on from that final hurdle with their shared scene.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

And given how the Order was wiped out so quickly I doubt there are any written records of their failings

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And they way Luke screams “the sacred JEDI TEXTS” to me is a dead give away on how much he relied on them

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Probably more like that favorite toy of your beloved dog that is now cherished and integral to preserving their memory.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
