Used to be involved with Schutzhund (IGP) and mondioring. It's just not about goodest bois, but damn good handlers and trainers.
The best dog will struggle to shine under a poor handler.

No amount of training can stop the waggy tail reflex. S/he’s a good doggie trying their best but that tail is still going 90 nonetheless

My GSD never wagged her tail when she was happy until one day we gave her CBD, and now she wags it all the time even though she's off it.

No flinching, total lock on handler. That dog hasn’t been abused in the least. Doing tasks for handler is 100x “happier” than pats and rubs.

No we call them Deutscher Schäferhund. So exactly the same line you guys do.
That's pretty funny tbh
(Reason is that there are many other shepherds around in Europe, so you got to be specific) Anatolian, Hungarian etc etc
ILikeNomNoms
Nah, it's the official name, but all the owners of GSDs I know only call them Schäferhund. Only if it's NOT a GSD they use the whole name.
Yeah but the official name is deutscher Schäferhund. Unlike other breeds like Doberman or Rottweiler, you don't add the "deutscher".
