The pen was amazing and we loved it very much.

I thought it was a dildo from the thumbnail.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to love those pens! Thanks for the memories! Am not gonna say I feel old! Haha,ha!????

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember taking one of these to school and when I used it I was called the dildo pen kid

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still think it is very wrong to give children below age of 14-15 a mobile phone.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck yeah!!! Those were the SHIT

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am 18 and I can relate to this...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup, technology is cheaper and more accessible today, and we should feel happy for all the children who can enjoy those advantages.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's a different world with different technology. I doubt the human phenotype has changed dramatically in 15 years.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The pen_is, mightier than the sword

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Children shouldn't be given an iPhone at the age of 9 unless for a very important reason.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lmao at 15 I'm lucky if I don't have to pay for my phone and bill.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me as an adult; I am happy to have this pen AND an iPhone

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I just got a pen like this for my planner! Best day ever!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

when was the last time you communicated with a 9 yr old?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i never had that pen :c

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me either. We were too poor. They weren't that good a pen actually at least not in the 80s

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My 7 year old has my old I phone 5. She just got one of these pens and freaked out! She loves it. And yes she presses all the colors.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But like your values, things have changed

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean most 9 year olds are happy when they get anything usually.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

It's happened, we're the "when I was young" generation now.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Dude, that pen was the shit back in the day

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was a dildo for a second

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am 39 years of age I have 2 kids and a mortgage I want that freaking pen!!!!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, technology advances.

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 3

Yeah, they used to only have 4 colors.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

v

10 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 2

I need to invite some people over, just so I can do this to them.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can't upvote this harder, we are just getting old, nothing is different from previous generations. My grandfather thought TV was nuts.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thog remember time when Thog got pointy rock back in Thog day.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Thog lucky. Grekla only have stick. Thog generation spoiled.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow, mine only had 4 colors.

10 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 0

I had a 21 color one from Chinatown. It broke within a month, but TWENTY ONE COLORS, MAN!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the 8 or 10-penned one. It was glorious.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Blue, red, green and black.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah seriously. What is this witchcraft?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Standard have four, but you get some glorious ones which have loads.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Noob I got 9

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine had one.

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Be honest, if someone hadve offered you the latest iPhone when you were a kid, that would have made you happy.

10 years ago | Likes 242 Dislikes 8

iPhone with no service plan. Wouldn't that be funny? If I was a kid, for the price of an iphone, I rather have a gaming console lol.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think you're right but it's more that kids today expect an iPhone. We didn't expect that or fancy pens. Just happy with whatever

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

And so the current generation began to hate the next generation for unfair generalization, just as the previous generation had done to them.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I was 9, you could use a cell phone to club a man to death and it was 90% battery which lasted 20 minutes

10 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

The Motorola flip phones could still cause serious pain

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My mom was worried when I went on a school trip and and made me carry my dad's Motorola, that thing+charger was half my bag.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Considering the rowdy outside stuff I did as a kid growing up small town it would've been broken in about 5 minutes.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Duh. Not the point.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Also honest, I received a multi-color pen recently, and I was pretty happy about that

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sadly not - there were no cell phones or internet available when I was 9. Likely would have used it as a drink coaster.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 5

What if they gave it to you preloaded with a bunch of games, so that you had access to some of the content modern 9-year-olds have?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I wouldn't have been able to recharge it - USB devices have only been around since the mid-90s.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Let's also assume they gave you a wall adapter as well.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The government would have confiscated both the phone and the giver. Both would have been subjected to scientific experimentation.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When were you nine? Internet and cell phones have been available since the 70s--though not widely used until the 90s.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The internet as you know it didn't exist until the mid-90s. First digital cell phones (2G) didn't roll out until early 90s. iPhones need 4G.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The first iPhones used 3g didn't they?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They might have. I've just been trying to point out that a lot of technology we take for granted is more recent than people think.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As I know it? I was mostly just curious as to your age. No harm/offense intended. I remember when neither was in common use too. (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(2/2) I remember when it was text based. I wrote my first website about 1994. Sorry to have offended you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not offended, I simply meant "web server internet". Pre-90s it was limited and primitive. I was a working adult before the internet.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No but if I was offered a palm pilot I would have capped myself

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Palm pilots for life! I had one in 2002 - 2003 when I was 13 years old. It was awesome. I had a text/anim space sim for it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And your parents had dirt and sticks and uphill walks to school both ways.

10 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 4

Mine also had piano backpacks... and roads were broken glass, apparently. It must've been a weird time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Didn't have nintendo, we just poured salt on snails!"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Back in my days, we didn't have dirt NOR sticks

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Worked the coal mine 22 hours a day for just half a cent, had to sell my internal organs just to make the rent.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Internal organs? You were lucky! In my day we had to rent ours from the money we got from the coal mines where we worked 30 hours a day!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No, I had dirt and sticks and uphill walks. This was a luxury. My parents worked in the mines starting at the age of five.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...in the snow

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Barefoot.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

You and your 11 brothers and sisters had to share the same pair of shoes...

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

And all had to share one big toilet, at the same time.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You tried to push all at once didn't you? *sigh* those were the days...

10 years ago | Likes 617 Dislikes 4

Legend said we could write with all the colors at once......

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I still do it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You got that pen as a kid? I bought one for myself on my 30th bday... and yeah it was awesome

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tried. And succeeded. Boo-ya!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep, every time I got one. Didn't matter that I knew it wouldn't work, either.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sometimes I'd unscrew it and take that part off and draw with all colors at once. Didn't work well but was fun

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I did that too!! Jey!!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I could only ever get three out but later in high school I learned that if u took a pair of scissors and shaved down the plastic enough u

10 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 1

Could get more out at once

10 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 5

You gave your pen a circumcision?

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0
