Custom Joycons

Started with a few coats of Rustoleom 2-in-1 Ivory Paint and Primer. Considering how dark the original grey Joycons were, it covered amazingly well.

After allowing the paint to dry, I taped off all the sections I wanted to keep white and painted a few layers of colour using Citadel Paints.

Same goes for the back, though the paint bled through pretty heavily on these ones. Easy enough to clean up though, thankfully!

Using Gundam Marker pens and Copic multi liners, I drew on the wear and tear and details I was looking for. I wanted a design reminiscent of the Jedi Starfighters from Revenge of the Sith, which involves a lot of straight angles which were a pain in the ass.
