Went on the spelunking tour of Wind Cave with some co-workers a few years ago. Awesome. Learned the Lakota creation story, too.

It's all contained now! It was pretty crazy! It totaled like 57,000 acres I think and it burned about 7,000 acres in Wind Cave! 1/2

Ah I loved wind cave. Had my dog so I couldn’t go into the cave, but the park itself was awesome. So many bison.

Nice! You need to apply to a seasonal academy first! Theres about 6 in the US (I'd recommend the one in NC). Then when you graduate 1/2

You apply through USAjobs under "Park Ranger Protection)! After a few season you go to FLETC!

2 years in Glacier (MT), 1 in Sikta, AK, 1 in Denali. Glacier is still my favorite. Even though I have now been to a few in other countries.

Go in the beginning of September. Less people and the colors of the leaves are amazing. Every guide will tell you that.
