The pet store had it as a "Giant Danio" for .99 cents. Obviously not one. But I've looked around and hoped someone might know.

I did, it was getting picked on big time by the Giant Danios. I have a spare tank to keep it in. And if it dies it'll go comfortably.

He definitely is unique that's for sure. I shall name him Forrest Gump. Strong fins Ms. Gump, but his backs crooked as a politician.

Don't really know if it's a Tetra. Just remember that name from childhood aquariums. Could be a fricking piranha for all I really know.

Yes I noticed his tail looked bent up. But I have a separate 29 gallon I can put him in.

Cool. BTW, I your fish is female. Sorry I said "he". The males of this species are more colorful and have a deep red in their fins.
