Its just a haircut, and its breed has naturally standing ears. Cant say I like putting clothes on dogs unless necessary but no cruelty here.

Our Puggle reacts like Dobby when we put a shirt on him (kids 3t/4t polo shirts n jerseys n whatnot. He has only a thin coat. Gets cold.
In which case, its necessary! Absolutely nothing wrong with keeping your pup warm. If they like it, then there is nothing wrong.
