#14 I do art of all kinds. I get comments all the time from family (mainly my mother) about how it's "such a waste" that I don't do it for work. Nowadays existence has me not even doing anything at all. I haven't made anything in probably at least a year.

#12 "To emphasize the individual is an error" No. Staunch collectivism is just as harmful as staunch individualism. We work together as a society, each as our own person. To put the individual over the group is an error; to put the group over the individual is an error. The west (especially the US) could do with thinking more about society, don't get me wrong. But read about the dark sides of Japanese culture if you need evidence of why pure collectivism is harmful.

Continued. In Japan, businessmen will work themselves to literal death for society and die at their desks. Some people can't face the weight of expectations and stage their own disappearances. To emphasize the individual at the cost of the group is an error and to emphasize the group at the cost of the individual is an error. I can't do anything myself but society can't do anything without its constituent individuals.
