Just practicing for when there's something delicious and worth pouncing on.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hahaha 😂 that's exactly what I was thinking 😆

Say that to her face

It translates differently when proximity shifts. Pretty sure at that distance, it translates to 'whose a good kitty?!?!?! whose the bestest keekee?!?!?'

This is AI. Everything in nature is logic. Look very well at the rocks underneath the jump. There is an almost straight path for the cat to walk between the starting point and the landing. No real animal would do a very dangerous jump if he could just walk the distance. This is not a real animal, this is an AI animal.

This is such a good point

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

is this AI again? there is no snow where it lands, yet.... *poof*

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Looks more like dust than snow though.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"again"...there is your clue...its a snow leopard and not another goat or ibex, but its just another video of an animal making a ridiculously far jump...highly likely AI just by the pattern of there being a new AI generated "animal jumping very far" video every day recently...

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've seen these cats jump like that and far more dangerous jumps on wildlife programs, David Attenborough’s' one for example. I've got all his shows so no I have no idea which one.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aw man. I've seen several "mountain animal jumps great distance" clips recently. Is this an AI trend?

2 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

apparently...instantly suspicious because of that stupid trend...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

YES

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is that AI. I get suspicious with the unnecessary dust effect.

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

This is not ai. They can jump that far for one and the first is real bc its likely been there for centuries

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

It is AI. Don't listen to anyone. This is taken from the same site that the flying goat one was taken from the other day. It's nothing but hundreds of AI animal videos. Plus c'mon the sound effects are a dead giveaway this is crap. Nobody wants to listen anymore.

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think that "dust effect" you see is actualy snow.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

I've seen that exaggerated "dust" effect in many AI clips lately. It's almost like they're trying too hard to make it look realistic.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

there was a sudden increase in videos of animals making ridiculously far jumps, first those goats and ibexes, now a snow leopard...the others afaik have all been AI, so i assume the same here...dunno what the appeal is exactly, but apparently someone is mass-producing that stuff somewhere...

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Im a veterinarian and can you usually tell AI of animals because of their behavior and movement. I see no red flags here

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

the red flag is that there has been a new ai generated video of some animal making a ridiculously far jump basically every day recently, and every time someone pointed out that they stem from some weird site specialised in making AI videos...so this one here is suspicous just because of it matching that pattern...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh for sure. Dang. Never can tell anymore

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AI slop

Yep, this is taken from the same site that the flying goat one was taken from. It's nothing but hundreds of AI animal videos. Plus c'mon the sound effects are a dead giveaway this is crap. Nobody wants to listen anymore.

There is some fuckery going on for sure. It doesn't scream "AI" though. The leopard could simply be edited into this scene

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I don't know if this is real but these analysis tools kinda suck. The "digital editing halo" is just the fur being backlit.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It's backlit all around though. The halo is on all sides, which should only be the case if the sun is behind it. But there is a mountain range instead. Very odd lighting for this background scenery, which otherwise appears to be lit from above at an angle.

There’s plenty of footage of them jumping from long before AI was a thing. Now I am curious how you determine that this specific video is AI.

2 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

It's like that scene from The Mummy: "This is cursed, that is cursed..." except "AI slop". Everything is AI slop to people now because its taken away our ability to easily recognized the real from the fake.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

This one triggered me because it's basically 1:1 identical from the one with the goat jumping which was shown to be AI. I never see the visual clues (I'm bad with visuals) so I do use contextual clues to spot likely spoofs. Also, seeing how the sound is clearly heavily edited (if not outright fake) makes me question the reliability of the rest

I'm not smart enough to run the tests but this is what I found

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you search for "lemons are sweet" you are bound to find the few jokes/thought experiments that claim they are (cue https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synsepalum_dulcificum). When you research a claim, you do not search for confirmation. You search for information that can REJECT your hypothesis. #science

Can I get a song ID?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bet it was because of goofems like this that humans got the idea to ski.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel like it's doing that just for fun

2 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Oh, absolutely.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Snow is actually a very good way for animals to clean themselves. But it sure looks fun to do so!

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Cleaning can be stimulating! And if you go down a slippy slide, that's fuckin way better than a shower like we idiots do.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Going down a soapy slide bare ass sounds fun and a good way to clean your nether area.
