Happened to randomly drop at same system with fellow commander Simon Woods on the The Dead End's Circumnavigation Expedition

At this moment I realized how far I am at the edge of the galaxy with the whole milkyway behind me. This is the view I'm gonna have for the next year with slowly rotating around the galaxy and slightly different nebulaes dotting the sky towards home. On the otherside, almost empty blackness.

Decided to dip myself to the layer below the galactic plane that is populated wit lot of neutron stars to try and get a little speedup, wasn't too successful attempt and had I could only stay in there for few jumps before my range just wasn't enough.

Finally found one of my "jackpot" locations, ended up waiting 4 days for the moon to orbit into a optimal position to catch both of these beautiful close by ringed planets in the same sky, and then it was time to go hunt the best landscape to capture them from.

The unthinkable

Then some 15 000 ly from beagle point, the unthinkable happened, I was on poor aproach to pitch black planet which completely took me offguard and i hit a mountain or the wall of a crater who knows what, and then everything around me was exploding and I was hearing my emergency frame shift slingshot activating. Back to the beginning I was, with 3 weeks before my expedition would hit beagle point, now this isn't the time to mourn, but to mount an epic dash across the galaxy.
