Unlike humans, dogs normally prefer to eat separately. They can relax and just eat without having to guard their food against other dogs.

are puppies and don't know this is 'theirs' and their sibs looks tastier. separate them by a good distance.

Exactly, our pups try to switch bowls if they're closer than about 5ft, so they sit on opposite sides of the kitchen, and they're good
