Driving home and a newer model truck pulls up behind me with is stadium lights basically trying to summon Jesus Christ himself upon my vehicle. Ok I get it, people with these LED lights can see further/better at night but they simultaneously skull fuck everyone else's eyes. Seems more dangerous than helpful in my opinion..

There's a tab sticking out the bottom of it which will adjust it to an oblique angle and make it less blinding

Angle, color temperature, and, yes, bulb design. Reflector housings are designed to focus a 'strip' of light (filament), not a point source.

These are HID(high intensity discharge) lights. LEDs look bright but don't throw any light for visibility. Annoying nonetheless.

If the light is a flood light or a thrower has nothing to do with the emitter type and everything to do with the reflector size.
