Finally got an interview in my field, great company and awesome salary. Interview went great, really hit it off with the director, he told me I all but had the job but his boss was making him interview one more person. I was super excited and started planning budgets, moves, etc. Just got the call, (which I appreciate them letting me know) that they are going with the other person. I’m normally a very upbeat person, but this one really sucks. I’ll bounce back, but just wanted to vent.

Same here, only it took a year and a half to get a call. The job tripled my salary and had to relocate 1000 miles away in 2 weeks
