Because of response, mom was at the hospital within 30 minutes, was treated within that golden hour, and was home within 2 days with no deficits.

We had similar amazing luck with our partner. Scary fucking experience but we got him to the ER as fast as we could and he was discharged within a. Couple days with barely any lingering effects.

I work in medical imaging and hate to see hospitals use use Citrix for PACs image viewing. It ruins image quality and can cause clinically significant errors. Legal issues if a savy patient catches them. Hospital IT uses it because it’s cheaper than deploying full desktops with clinical grade equipment. Rant over.

Yep. Time = tissue, or time=brain. Getting certain thinners to "unclog" ischemic stroke victims' vessels after confirmation of ischemic vs hemorrhagic does wonders for stroke victims who are found, scanned, and treated in time! Huzzah to your momma!

She's really doing well. There's some memory loss, and she's more forgetful now, but really she's doing great
