Tldr: got a business licence, applied for cannabis retail licence, had to wait 9 months. With complete uncertainty if I was ever going to get the security deposit back. Got approved. Got my 6k back.
Now for the full...ish story.
Be me, 18 years old. Stoner.
Get really baked
Think about how much money I could make opening a weed shop. Spend 16 hours reading laws, by laws, municipal laws, guidelines, licence requirements, security requirements, ext.
I had "finished" my research and asked my co workers if hypothetically they would join me in this business venture. Them being stoners said yes.
So now I'm going full dive on this.
I contacted a start up firm, they provided me with legal assistance the entire way through. (I highly recommend getting professional aid when it comes to law, so many terms you may not know)
I fully explain my intentions and about 2 days later they give me a THICCC binder. Probably around 120 pages total. This was all the paper work I needed to get approved.... Or so I thought.
It's 3 am. I will finish this story later (sorry)
