After fighting valiantly my daddy passed on the day before yesterday. He was is such agony at the end, knowing his soul is free and rejoicing has given me some peace.
He was an amazing man, father, husband, son, friend, etc. For nearly 25 years he worked in land management for Volusia County, he loved his job and being outdoors.
He will be missed by everyone who's ever met him, but I feel sad for those who never got to meet him. I have had no greater joy than being daddy's little girl and while taking care of him as he transitioned to this next stage of his journey was a hell I wouldn't wish on anyone, I wouldn't trade a second of it. As caring for my daddy was the last way I could show him just how much he was loved. He lived his life to the fullest and left this world kicking and screaming, never giving up his fight to stay with us. I truly believe he is out there somewhere fishing and hiking with his dad and all those whom have gone on before us.

That’s awesome! My father works in environmental management, gopher tortoise relocation, bear bridges etc. Preservation is so important.
