Weekend bar build, material cost approximately$15

Rough finished product first. Still planning to seal and stain the bar. As well I'd like to add graphics to the short side.

Work bench and some building supplies.

First of three Fram pieces assembled.

Figuring out spacing. Want to leave space for a beer fridge.

Rough spacing is ok.

Time to add the front paneling. Later cut to fit with a skillsaw.

Adding the top. You may see the nails poking up, these were cut out after. I didn't want to remove a bunch of nails if I was gonna cut the boards shorter anyway.

Tacking more top pieces down. I added cross bracing later on to reduce the wobble and add more structure. It does look tippy, but there is a lot of weight down low, so it's quite stable.

Cutting the top edges. The saw used for all cuts on the project. Using the OSHA certified safety squint for this one.

Up and on the deck. "We gotta sand it"

Bar rail added, now to sand down

Corners rounded and most sanding completed. Now for stools, and cold one!

13 times 8 foot 2x4. Given for free from work
A bunch of old pallets also from work for all the fascias and the bar top. I used one box of 4" deck screws for the framework, and one box of two inch finishing nails for the fascias. All in all not too bad for about 15 man hours and some free wood.
