So I’m doing something about it. I’ve put on around 15kg (30ish lb) in the last year and this photo really highlighted what I’ve been trying to ignore. I don’t want to tell anyone in real life that I’m going to try and lose weight for fear I’ll crash and burn. I’ve done it before and have had to go through the soul-crushing process of being asked “How’s the diet going?”, so I thought a post that’ll get downvoted out of existence is the best way about it. Wish me luck, I guess.

I’ve been pretty rough with myself in the past and ended up giving up so I’m trying to just soldier on :)

You can do it, its not always about whats in your diet but how much you eat. Do more exercise, buy a skipping rope or look up home exercises

The problem is actually vice-versa! Poppy (the puppy) is so intrigued by the guinea-fowl but she’s always chased away when she’s watching on

That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, our guinea fowl don’t mind humans because we’re gentle but the dogs aren’t as timid around them

I didn’t say anything about being fat! I’m just not comfortable with the weight gain so I want to shape up a little bit to feel better :)

I also hate when I drop a cookie, it disintegrates, and an opportunistic turkey eats the crumbs before I have a chance of snorting them.

Bird is actually a guinea-fowl! A group of six moved into my partner’s garden one day and never left. As for the rest - thank you!

Very similar to chicken eggs, slightly smaller and the shells are harder. Give them a go!
