Diagnosed with Skin Cancer a few days ago.
This was taken after they elecrocauterizied the new hole in my head. Took them about 10 minutes to cut out. 45 minutes to run it through pathology. And 30 minutes to stitch up. Yes I was awake.
23 stitches and a new hair due later Im a free man. Fuck you cancer. Take it all in stride guys.

Look on the bright side, you get to make up wild stories about how you got a scar on your crown now. "oh this? I survived a falling icicle!"

Wear a hat in the summer if you're fair skinned or fair haired. I suit up like I'm avoiding the draft in the summer, have many risk factors

Had something similar removed from my stomach a few years ago. While on the table the doctor asked if I'd like to see inside of myself. I 1/

You need cancer like you need a hole in the head. Go Team Chris!
PinkPrincess007
misterwit
But the hole in the head was actually very necessary to cease having cancer. Does the cancer necessitate itself? PARADOX

Mom had skin cancer 6 years ago now. Really scary time. Hang in there man. With skin cancer the fight never ends
MistressLyda
Actually, it often does. In a lot of cases, what you see in OPs post, is about as bad as it gets.
KimJongUninstall
When caught early yes it does usually end there. But there is a chance you will get t again later in life. And much worse every time.
MistressLyda
1/? True. That is the case about pretty much anything in life though. My point is to not scare people away if they suspect something.
MistressLyda
2/? I'v known people that has had a "odd mole", and ignored it for years, fearing it would end with months of chemo.
MistressLyda
3/3 Resulting in what would been a few inches of skin removed and some stitches? Now IS months of chemo, at best.
