You can eat raw beef. Just most people don't like to. Raw pork and chicken are the ones that can get you sick.

Safe is a relative term, and is not the absolute removal of risk. It's the reduction of risk to an acceptable level.

Also black styrofoam is one of the best places where styrofoam can be reused. Discolouration doesn't matter cuz it's dyed black.

Landfills are not aerated so compostable matter breaks down into methane, which is far worse than CO2. If it's in a landfill you WANT it 3/
