Don't worry too much, with his track record those tasers will likely fail before they do their job.

Constitutes insider trading. Let's hope prosecuting a sitting president becomes a lot less challenging in the post-Trump era. He's proven holding a POTUS accountable is necessary and they should be just as criminally liable as anyone else, otherwise we've just paved the way for someone far more corrupt.

I don't understand why this is not already something that is possible. Like in the Netherlands the active government during COVID lockdowns etc are now on day 15 of the hearings to decide if someone should be punished or held accountable to some degree.

The US favors the wealthy and "white collar" crimes are often overlooked altogether or sentenced very liberally. Add to that, the current ruling party paved the way for a corrupt/unethical president.

Held accountable for what?

Well it could go 3 ways in this particular research. 1. They say in hindsight that they could have done better but in the time being it they handled it as best as they could. 2. They say that with the known (at that time) knowledge they handled too harsh. 3 (most likely) they say the government with the known knowledge was too passive, resulting in more deaths and pressure on healthcare in general. If that is the case some people may lose their job and maybe get a fine or in extreme case jail.
