They have guided games which is in beta and allows you to matchmake for nightfall and eventually the raid. Discord is a useful app

Yes. I enjoyed the first game, more so after the expansions but D2 is really fun. The setting, story, and grind are much better this time

It's always-online, multiplayer PvE and PvP with RPG elements and character classes with a never-ending loot treadmill. It's an MMO.

*shrug* You can technically do the same thing in WoW for everything but the raids. It may feel different, but it sucks your life the same.
