I broke three ankles, a leg and an arm watching this. Two of the ankles and the leg were mine. The other ankle and the arm belonged to a couple people in the audience.

I dunno, that performance was a little... stilted. I'll see myself out

I believe the man stands tall among the rest of his people.

I prefer the female dancers of a certain uhm…tribe. But this guy…give him a job in drywall and painting ceilings…and a couple of different coloured brushes. Could be art. Better than a banana anyway.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude has the strongest legs and butt available.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

And the connective tissue is unbelievable

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This guy didn't skip leg day.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Somebody: Hey, can you dance like you are continouosly falling?
Dancer: you got it.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When your tribe hasn't discovered gravity and physics yet. Fuck you scientists! Look at the fun we could be having.

2 years ago | Likes 471 Dislikes 4

All the cool moon kids are doing it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have observed gravity, they just told it to go fuck itself

2 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Yeah fuck Newton and his apple tree for ruining everything.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I hurt myself watching this video

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Rumor has it his knee tendons could launch a rocket to orbit they're so strong and elastic. Wtf, dude.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"gravity is a theory you know, it's not proven" Reeeeeeeeeeeeee

The secret to flying is to throw yourself at the ground and miss.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

It's not breakdancing, its stumbling - WITH STYLE!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

that's a pretty apt description of many of the dance moves in this clip. So that tracks

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I know it is a quote from Douglas Adams, but it is also mostly how orbits work throw yourself into the air and then keep missing the ground.

As an ex-dancer… this is phenomenal.

Back in my day, I could do flips, some breakdancing, and a lot of high-speed coordinated footwork with perfect rhythm… but this is a whole ‘nother level of muscle control. Just the sheer strength to land those moves and redirect the energy into the next twist is incredible.

His work with and experience with momentum are absolutely amazing

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Exu

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Eshu (Yoruba) = Exu (Candomblé)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, but Candomblé has its roots in Yoruba people, and others. It's just an adapted word to Portuguese.

How the fuck is this humanly possible, it looks like straight up nagic

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This makes my various cruciate ligaments wince.

2 years ago | Likes 164 Dislikes 1

Right? My ski instructor once told me he could no longer take mogul runs because "my knees are like peanut butter." I see that in this guy's future.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

To be fair I've never done mogul runs and doubt I could take one either.

All of us burn out in the end; some choose to burn bright and shine what light they have to offer in ways that they believe matter.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

You only have 2 🤔

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Per knee

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes, the crucial ligmas. I totally know what those are.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I blew out both my knees just watching this.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Not to mention his poor meniscus and collateral ligaments which are honestly in more danger. "Unhappy triad" opportunities left and right.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Patellar & quadriceps tendons as well. I've had chronic patellar tendonitis in the past. Took over 2 years to get it under control. It sucks.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This would more likely end up in a patellar tension rupture, which is also no funsies.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No fun at all. The inflammation was bad enough. Tears take forever to heal. I've torn both quads. Now, I've a permanent knot in the middle of my right quad, the size of a golf ball that is impossible to break up.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah if you didn't get it repaired, that's just a ball of atrophied muscle!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, that is by far the most impressive stilt work i have seen in 50 years. Impressive.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This hurts the knees

The background theme music could be better...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What instrument am I hearing that sounds like someone messing around on a broken accordion?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or hyperventilating on a harmonica

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want to set a group of these guys opposite a group of Native American bird dancers and along with groups of each respective bird the dances are associated with and have a dance party/battle!

That looks a lot like a bird's head movement/stabilization, wonder if it's based off one? It's really well done

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've seen this one with the sound of a jackhammer, which was a surprisingly good fit

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
