I noticed something floating in my cereal that looked like rice.
upon closer inspection
now proceed to go vomit...
Mini Trix Cereal. I store all of my food properly and this has never happened before to me.
Edit: while they may be great protein and even better for you than the cereal, its not a nice surprise.

Refrigerate the rest until you can get thick plastic containers to hold sections of food in. Isolate the food using the containers(3)
