A good boy in need

This is Reno after his grooming. He is 6 years old and he has arthritis. We have explored every option for him and it has been difficult. I love him with all of my heart.

Reno is the smartest dog I've ever met, trying to converse (and sometimes argue) with our family members. His favorite things are walks, his stuffed dog girlfriend and scratches. He has a few furry siblings, and he has never hurt them. He has never hurt his family either. But since we moved, he has had issues with groomers. We assumed it was due to the pain in his knees, but he got snappy and bit two of them. One of the groomers had even suggested that a groomer in the past had abused him. In the prior 6 years of his life, he has hurt nobody. We take him to the dog park regularly and he will run around happily, but his back legs collapse sometimes. Since this happened, we called the rescues to see if we could find a good home for him. They told us it might be best if we put him down considering the altercations with the groomers. But he has been a great dog, and never harmed anyone in the past. We love him. We explored options to take him to the vet for grooming. Upon going there we now are facing vet bills we can't afford. We can't afford to keep him, and no rescue will take him. Finding someone who will, or getting assistance in vet bill funds is our last resort. We live in Palm Beach County, Florida. If anyone has a home for him, or knows someone who could give him a home, please contact us. We want him to be happy, no matter who he is with.

As a user of imgur for quite some time, I know how everyone feels about gofundme, but I love this animal with all my heart. I will be able to prove that the money is going to his vet bills, and will send out pictures of the bills and him at the vets.
