Clean Thinking

Originally this card granted protection from the color of your choice, but I felt like that wanted reminder text, too (because it's not used as frequently anymore), and there's only so much space on the card.
Brief aside, though, I love this artist. His work is awesome for this set, and I highly recommend checking out his Deviantart page (rhads).

Power Fantasy

Pretty standard combat trick for black. You're essentially spending one card to gain life and the second (forestalled) card to save your creature.

Painful Abstraction

Scrying is one of the more interesting things to do on a forestall card, and red is the color most in need of mechanical identity with where the set is right now, so I'm trying to have it be #1 in Forestall (with blue being #2 -- notice that the other three colors got pretty standard combat tricks for this cycle).

Dream Big

I love cards that are named after common expressions. There's a lot of them in the set right now (see Power Fantasy above), but this one basically designs itself. I decided to have it give both reach and trample so that it could be relevant on both defense and offense.

Vivid Eruption

This last one is more experimental, and if we're being honest, probably not a common. I don't know how I feel about it.
