I don't have super mario maker, so I BECAME the super mario maker

I started by making a collection of sprites i wanted to use (photoshop).

You really only need glue, scissors and an x-acto knife.. but here are some tools I use:

Nice little wood frame from Michaels.

As per normal I cut out every pixel to maintain that 8 bit goodness!

The background image for this is just a simple blue, but I still use the frame matte as a guide.

Two stacks of cardboard + outer graphics applied = mario bricks!

Adding the pieces was the funnest part; it's a simple project but it looks cool.
