To put an actual number to it, that iPhone 3GS was released fifteen years ago. I’ve been on the Internet for over twice that long, but with exponential growth of content you might be right.
My father suggested to 5yo me to name my new all-white kitten Snowball. I didn't know any better, so sure, "Snowball". The name was fine, and the cat turned out to be one of my best. Later I decided I would give more creative names to my pets.
If that's a standard door, it's 6'8". The dog is about two-thirds while standing on its hind legs, so about 4'6". It could probably reach its front paws up to about 5'6", which is about what our slightly-larger-than-average golden retriever can reach.
Given the size and the colouring, I'd say that's just a typical (although well-fed) golden retriever.

Pretty sure this picture is older than most of the Internet. This woman is giggling in a nursing home somewhere.
