Beer!

I like good beer, and felt inclined to share some good beers I've taken pictures of (I have more pictures of others but they were taken in bars and as such I'm now having trouble differentiating as none had bottles/cans with them). let's get started with the beer shown above, shall we? Damn good sour. Fairly unique flavor to it, great aroma...in the couple months since I discovered it, I've gone through probably 4 six packs. From the Burley Oaks brewery in Berlin, MD. I've had it on tap as well, but I surprisingly prefer it from a can.

Same sour, plus a couple of others. The Boulevard is quite good, the Ballast Point ever so slightly less so.

Russian Imperial Stouts are good too. Great for winter months if you live somewhere with winter, and inside drinking if you don't. Bell's is the brewery...apparently Kalamazoo, Michigan is the place.

Around the Christmas season, why not enjoy a Santa themed beer? Not my favorite Christmas ale but definitely worth a drink. From Penn Brewery, in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Every beer this brewery makes is pure liquid GOLD. Their focus is sours and Belgian styles in general, and they made the only barleywine I've actually fully enjoyed. Enjoy their beers in the Millvale, PA area.

More dark delicious goodness. Another Russian Imperial Stout, this time agreed in bourbon barrels. From Tröeg's in Hershey, PA.

Another great Christmas ale with a neat little bit of gingerbread flavor. Just finished my last can tonight. Sly Fox brewed it, in Pottstown, PA.

An oldie but a goodie. Ayinger, Erdinger, Weihenstephaner, I could go on and on listing great German breweries. Apologies, I don't know the exact location of the brewery.

A cherry sour. Not a particular favorite, because it diminishes the sour deliciousness. From River Horse Brewing in Ewing, NJ.

A tart wheat ale at comparatively affordable prices! Another from Bell's.

A sour at comparatively unaffordable prices! Quite tasty, rang in the new year with this one. Boulevard is, according to a friend who's lived in the town, the only good thing to come out of Kansas City, MO.

Good Oktoberfest beer from 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville, MD.

A friend visited Iceland and brought back this delicious gift for me. I may need to visit and fill a suitcase when I return. From Ölvisholt Brugghús, in Selfoss, Iceland (hope I got that all right). I'm drinking this tonight, it's in the 30s outside...perfect fit.

It isn't good, but it is very cheap. Best enjoyed in a can. From...somewhere.
