Texas Instruments Business-Pro Keyboard from 1985

Texas Instruments Business-Pro computer keyboard (circa ~1985) that I recently acquired. The switches found in this Texas Instruments keyboard appear to be a newly discovered switch variant made by Alps Electric Co. This switch type features a square key profile rather than rectangular and has two springs in each switch while other Alps varieties only have a single spring.

Before I bought it I had this picture to go off of. I knew it looked like Alps but all Alps sliders are rectangular, not square!

So it appears this keyboard is one big array of switches! Removing one of these plastic caps reveals the extra switches. I've never seen anything quite like this before. I assumed it was empty space. Now I can experiment with different layouts.

Found in a barn in Illinois, made in Japan! I smell Alps.
