#3 Queso fresco is amazing. I also really like cotija. I'll sometimes get a block of either and cut off chunks as a quick snack. Works great as a substitute for the standard mozzarella cheese stick.

But brainfreeze happens when the cold hits the roof of your mouth and the blood vessels react. He swallowed the popsicle so quickly that it never got enough contact with the roof to have this response. I can imagine his "heart" would react and his esophagus would feel the "brain" freeze reactions.
