Lets resurrect a classic with a brutal twist. Trust me!

Step 1: Download the following files and extract them all to your desktop or the same folder.

GZDoom (emulator)

Doom WAD Files (needed for the original doom textures)

ZDL (used to launch the game)

Step 2: Move the WAD files, ZDL folder, and the Project Brutality files all into the GZDoom folder

Step 3: Open ZDL. Go to settings tab

Step 4: Under Source Port/Engines click the Add button and browse to your gzdoom.exe file

Step 5: Under the IWADs click the Add button and browse to your Doom.wad and Doom2.wad files. (This is where you add custom level packs that you download as well. Just select it and hit launch!)

Step 6: Go back to the Main tab and click the Add button under External Files

Step 7: Add the Project Brutality 2.03.pk3 and the PB_Allow_SV_Cheats.pk3 under the external files folder (for the cheats of course!)

Step 8: Select the WAD you want to play and click Launch on the bottom right

Step 9: Go to the Options section of the game and set your controls to whatever you like (I prefer WSAD, but you can do whatever)

Step 10: Go to Mouse Options and make sure mouse look is always on. You can actually look around now unlike the old original version!

Step 11: Pick a crosshair so you know where you are aiming and then you can launch a new game! Select Project Brutality when it asks and then you are set!

You can also get other custom made WAD files from here if you want to play some new fresh levels from scratch!

You can add other addons as seen in this GIF. The HUD is slightly different. There are custom music packs, custom levels, custom skins, and a lot more!

There are a bunch of new monsters as well. Pretty much there is a significantly more deadly version of the existing monsters you already know. They will randomly insert themselves as you play!

Dont forget to check out all of you new weapons too there are at least 3x the amount that the original game had! Each number to select your gun typically has multiple weapons so be sure to hit it multiple times to cycle through all your guns! There is even a black hole generator gun now at number 8!

You can also chainsaw off the revenant missle launchers and the mancubus flamethrowers and use them as weapons! They are on the 9 slot. All weapons has alternate fire methods for the most part so be sure to set your controls accordingly. Some even have tertiary fire methods...go under controls and set 'dual wield/weapon special' to something like the middle mouse wheel.

Cheat codes for those of you who dont remember and just want to rip and tear for fun ;)

iddqd - god mode
idkfa - all weapons, ammo, and keys
idclip - no clipping
idbeholda - all map (there are other options that pop up when you type 'idbehold' you can see them in game and use them if you want. The all map one is the only one I would use personally.
